I found Justin to be everything I could want in an agent. He was very professional in handling all aspects of our transaction. The many details were handled in a timely and effective manner. he was always reachable, and showed me a sincere interest in helping me achieve a great result in a transaction with a very short time deadline. Selling a house is never an easy process, but when you live 2000 miles away from the house, your first house, the one you raised your family in and the one that you thought you’d have forever, there are many extra emotional and practical issues involved. Griffin negotiated our sale with such ease and professionalism…understanding our issues, eliminating the need for us to make costly trips, and treating our house with love. She acted like we were the only clients in the world; responded to calls, texts and emails immediately, handled all the paperwork and closing issues..she made the process absolutely pain free. Not only would we recommend Griff to any seller, we can’t understand why you’d want to use anyone else.

Property Tax Stabilization
The state of Maine has implemented a new Property Tax Stabilization Program for Senior Citizens. If you don’t qualify you most likely know someone who does.
There are no income limits for this. It is a State program that allows certain senior-citizen residents to stabilize, or freeze, the property taxes on their homestead.

You Should Know…
Regardless of income you are allowed to claim a Homestead Exemption on your primary residence which reduces the amount of your property taxes by lowering your assessed value $25,000 Once you have filed for it and it is in place, you do not need to file again unless you move to another city! Additional exemptions are available for the blind, veterans, and widows. Should you or anyone you know qualify for these additional exemptions please give us a call and we will gladly send you the forms you need to file.
